Internet Marketing 4 Noobs

Here's the review.

After I brought Ewen Chia's Secret Affiliate Weapon, I came across another Google Ad while searching for more information on article marketing.

"See how this Singaporean earned $10,000 within 3 months!" or something like that, can't remember.

Thinking of how a fellow Singaporean do it, I clicked the ad. His sales letter is much different from Ewen Chia's, and seemingly more realistic. But as usual, the same claims of earning a fortune within months, screenshots of his ClickBank account, testimonials and so forth.

My alarm system kicked in immediately and shut myself from that "BUY!!!" button. I then Googled for the "Ultimate Wealth Package" his sales letter was promoting, and found a interesting thread the author of Ultimate Wealth Package posted at a forum asking for opinions on his product.

This showed how unprofessional the author of Ultimate Wealth Package is. He may be successful in his online ventures, but his attitude is worrying. I'm not putting my money on anyone like that!

Research before buying! Caveat Emptor!

While reading the reviews of Ultimate Wealth Package, I found Holly Mann's Honest Riches and research more on it after ditching the former. And I did not find any negative statements about Holly Mann's work. Seriously.

I went over to her website and noticed it doesn't have those BIG BOLD statements thrown all over the place boasting about how much money they made and such. A common tactic sales letters used to hype you up.

Just compare Ewen Chia's sales letter for Secret Affiliate Weapon and her own. I am NOT saying Ewen Chia is scandalous! This is just for comparison sake only.

Holly Mann's sales letter is much "cleaner" and to the point. She also has a photo of herself and her son on the site. Personally I find Holly Mann's statements in her sales letter to be more believable, more honest. Here's what she said herself.

"I am not trying to create a fancy sales pitch to sell this e-book. You won't find any "Dear Friend" letters on this website. (If you've bought a lot of e-books in the past you know what I am talking about!) I am using HONESTY. I am a Real Person offering Real step-by-step guidance here. I am not promising you that you will be a millionaire overnight. But, I am providing you with EVERY SINGLE TOOL you need to make a very comfortable living online."

I then sent both authors of Ultimate Wealth Package and Honest Riches an email in Dec 06 regarding how much money I need to invest before I can see profits coming in. This is to test their responsiveness, testing their service.

I did not get any reply from Ultimate Wealth Package.

I got this from Holly herself.

"Hi Thien,
Thank you for the email and I apologize for the brevity of my response (i just flew from the states to thailand with my son and I am trying to catchup with my emails from an internet cafe). I just wanted to tell you that you need way less than 400 to start making money from all of this. There are many methods in my ebook which require NO startup costs at all…others may require very, very little. I also offer support through my forum at: www.honestworkfromhomesuccess.com My internet will be setup on the 5th and I will have more time to asnwer emails! Thank you and take care. Holly"

A little rushed…but she explained her situation and answered my question. Most importantly this email shows Holly Mann is a human who replies! I would rather buy from someone than from something!

She referred me to her forums, which I went over to check it out. The forum is indeed well populated and interactive. After all this I decided that her work is of quality and brought a copy of her book.

Frankly, when I first opened up the pdf file, I was a little disappointed by the number of pages. 50 pages. No where near the 92 pages from Ewen Chia's Secret Affiliate Weapon.

This disappointment quickly dissipated after reading through the ebook. Though it is not as thick as Secret Affiliate Weapon, the contents are densely packed, and the information present is definitely much MORE organized and thorough.

Holly Mann also stated in her forums the 2nd edition of her book will be released soon. So I decided not to review the book back then.

Then last month in February '07 I receive a notification Holly Mann has released the 2nd edition for her book, and requests previous customers to send her the Paypal receipt no. from the first purchase to download the updated book which is expanded to 95 pages, for FREE!

That's very NICE! Especially considering that the price of the 2nd edition has went up to from $27 to $37.

And that is what will be reviewed here. Recommend you check out the eBook which I brought, still using and strongly recommend to fellow Internet Marketing noobs.
