Well, Ms. Holly Mann gave a reply yesterday and we had a long discussion on Yahoo Messenger.

What we are going to do, what are we going to name our product, who do what, transferring of files to work on, and some friendly chat.

The discussion yesterday also somehow allowed another weakness of mine to manifest itself…perfectionism? Halfway through I started to rumble through the process of what we are going to do…how are we going to promote the product through multiple channels, how are we going to accept the payments…

“but we can take it step by step..” Holly stated.

Hmm…that stopped me and got me thinking…we have not even come up with the website yet, and I’m talking about how customers are going to pay us. I think I thought too far ahead without even starting on needs to be done first.

I guess this is one of the ways I have subconsciously held myself back for the past few months…thinking too much ahead and when I can’t see very clearly what’s at the end of the road, I abandon the entire idea altogether without even getting far into it.

Armand Morin stated at World Internet Summit 2007:

“RHINOS CHARGE FIRST, ASK QUESTIONS LATER.”

Interesting! But still have to keep things in balance though. Knowing roughly what’s going to appear at the end of all this is still much better than not knowing anything at all.

Another lesson learned!

Back to work!
