7 Weeks ago, I met Ms. Holly Mann and asked her for her business card.

I asked for her business card which she gave readily, and I apologized that I do not have one of my own yet.

“Oh no problem!” She said. Right…I’m gonna print a couple of my own business cards to exchange within the next few weeks.

I got her business card, and I felt awkward that I did not have anything of my own…

Not Anymore! :)

BusinessCard

I actually had my business card printed out last Friday, but did not have the opportunity to take the photos and write about it.

I was digging around looking at the various business card designs…and I noticed that most did not have photos of the guy behind the name on it. So boring. And how to make yourself stand out amid the stacks of business cards they probably already have?

So the photo above shows my take on what a business card should look like. Simple, elegant and WITH your photo on it. I left out my address though…still not exactly comfortable telling everyone where I live. :p

At first I was a little apprehensive on how people will take my own design, but I just gave them out to some new friends I made at a gathering organised by my Success University uplines. Edmund Toh a.k.a. The BillionaireKid said “Wow! Nice design!” So don’t judge yourself, let the results speak for themselves. Just do it! :)

I printed out about 40 or so cards, and I needed a place to store them, so I salvaged a business card holder from my father. It has cracks and chipped off in some corners…but it still works!

So to those of us who are just starting out running any type of business…get your own business card!

Nice to have a name card of your own… :)
    You printed the card yourself?

  4. Thien Kai Wei says:

    Hi Alex!.

Yep, I printed the card out myself, so the quality not so good…

I printed them on those glossy paper on an inkjet printer. You can see that the cards are bent…

Just want to see how well the “pioneer” batch is received first, then finalize design and go for mass printing.
