Internet Marketing 4 Noobs

After realizing the importance of networking and making friends…I decided to do up my long dormant Friendster (popular in Singapore) account and joined myBlogLog about 5 week ago, on 18th June ‘07.

It’s actually quite interesting come to think of it. Post photos online, looking around for people I know of…Not sure what you may think of this but for someone who never really believed in mixing around…it’s quite fun!

If you have followed this site for some time, you will noticed that I signed up and installed myBlogLog’s sidebar widget into my blog. It’s very nifty, allowing me to see who has visited my blog. Since their photos are displayed, I feel compelled to go over to their profile pages at myBlogLog and drop a “Hi There!” note.

MyBlogLog has since brought me more than 33 visitors this month. You have to be active in the networking sites, not just open up an account at MySpace…FaceBook…and think that people will come your way. It’s just like in a party. If you just stand there in one corner, who want to be bothered with you?

I made some new contacts/friends from MyBlogLog, and found lots of Singaporean locals who are also doing Success University! I came across someone going by the name of “BillionaireKid”. His name was quite catchy, so I visited his site to take a look

2 days ago I attended a gathering organized by my upline to share our experiences and basically network with each other. And I met BillionaireKid there, real name Edmund Toh. We intro ourselves to each other, and just like that I have a new friend. In fact I made 5 new friends who are into Internet Marketing too.

So network around and make new friends. I know this may be a no-brainer, but some of us may have yet to realized the significance of networking, or are simply introverts like I used to be. Can’t say I have really learnt to open my mouth more…but I’m working on it.

Same message as before. ALL OF US GOT A MOUTH. USE IT!
