She stated the following on her Honest Riches website.

“The strategies I reveal in the e-book are the exact same ones I used when I first started out and they are the same exact techniques I use today.”

This tells me that Honest Riches 2 is certainly for beginners, complete noobs. And thank goodness I was right. I brought Honest Riches 2 and found the information inside to be of EXCELLENT quality.

Honest Riches 2 is not perfect, and I will highlight what I found. These FEW “flaws” are just my personal opinion and I am NOT saying that Honest Riches 2 is low quality junk.

You may notice in Honest Riches 2 that Holly Mann writes in slightly long paragraphs throughout the entire eBook, compared to Secret Affiliate Weapon. Sometimes it may get too long…but that shows Honest Riches 2 is PACKED with information and not white spaces.

Honest Riches 2 comprises of 12 chapters. Here’s what the 95 page eBook will cover.

Chapter 1 (Business Preparations)

* Explains the importance of giving your online venture a business identity.

* Emphasizes on doing your tax paperwork to avoid trouble later. Be Honest!

Chapter 2 (Affiliate Marketing)

*Holly Mann explains very well what affiliate marketing is, how it benefits both merchant and affiliate.

*She states the factors to consider when choosing affiliate programs, however she does not explain why these factors are important.

* Explains the 2 types of affiliate programs that we can join, Independent Affiliate Program and Affiliate Networks, using a chart to display pros and cons of each.

* Lists some popular affiliate networks with the attributes and advantages of each. Holly Mann also explains how to circumvent the restrictions some affiliate networks place on you due to your geographic location.

Chapter 3 (Research is Key)

* Empathizes on using Wordtracker to help you to brainstorm your ideas and do proper research. Quite lengthy, almost 2 pages long. Holly Mann strongly recommends it.

* Gives a short tip on taking advantage of seasonal opportunities.

* Gives a list of useful and recommended niche finding tools, with Wordtracker at the top. Other than Wordtracker, the rest are free. Gives a short explanation on what they do and the links to their websites.

Chapter 4 (Making Money WithOut a Website)

* Holly Mann gives an excellent explanation on how you can use forums, classified ads, networking sites and writing product reviews to promote your affiliate products, all without a website.

* Gives a list of directories to help you get started using the methods stated. E.g., forum directories are listed to help you find the correct forum to promote your affiliate product.

* Explains step by step, across 3 pages, how to find the right affiliate products to promote, research the keywords used by the competition, write reviews on your affiliate products and post them to article directories to promote them.

Chapter 5 (Website Design & Development)

* BIG chapter on Website creation. 18 pages explaining the 7 ways you can build a website. She did not everything as the technical details will bore you. There are books out there covering each method specifically.

* Holly Mann offers you an arrangement where if you buy web hosting through her affiliate link, she will set up a Wordpress blog or Joomla CMS website for you FREE.

* NUMEROUS links to useful and free tools and templates to help you build your websites.

Chapter 6 (Open Source Secrets)

* Holly Mann introduces you to open source software and how you can, citing from her own experience, save a lot of money by looking for free open source versions of software you intend to buy.

* Gives you a few links where you can download free programs, website templates and other free tools.

* Gives you some ideas to help you start off using your free websites and open source software/tools.

Chapter 7 (Content is King)

* Holly Mann explains why it’s important to create content with the keywords in mind and how to ensure a high ranking in the search engine for those keywords.

* Explains how you can use Google Adsense to integrate into your website to earn advertising revenue. Holly Mann also gives examples of websites with well integrated advertisements.

Chapter 8 (Search Engine Optimization)

* Holly Mann again gives a thorough explanation behind keyword analysis and on-site optimization, explaining very well how Google interpret linking sites of their value, and how you can find out the backlinks of your competition so you can out rank them.

* Contains a DETAILED, 15 page, step by step instructions on how to correctly and fully create an optimized webpage and find out what keywords your competition is using.

“I provide a DETAILED guide to Search Engine Optimization - What to Do and How to do It”

She stated this on her sales page, and after reading this 15 page guide, Holly Mann sure does lives up to what she says.

* Gives you a MASSIVE list of close to 400 website directories and article directories for you to submit to establish backlinks. She even includes the page rank of every one of them!

Chapter 9 (The Money Is In the List)

* Holly Mann explains to you why having an opt-in list to collect email address is important and autoresponders can help to automate your business.

* She does not have much information on free autoresponders such as Getresponse.com, which Ewen Chia did in Secret Affiliate Weapon. I personally have not used them before, but it would be good if Holly Mann gives some free alternatives.

Chapter 10 (Advertising Your Website)

* After the previous chapters search engine optimization, Holly Mann explains in chapter 10 how to spread the word.* Explains how to use Google PPC but not recommending it due to possible costly mistakes especially for a beginner.

* Explains how she uses a method that gives you REAL traffic REAL fast within 48 hours on all her websites she has built so far, and gives the statistics of one of her websites as an example.

Chapter 11 (Creating Your Own E-Book)

* An excellent! 7 page step-by-step guide on how to create your own Ebook for you to sell. Holly Mann also includes tools she uses to create her eBooks.

* Seems to miss out the final step on how to put the finished eBook up for sale….

Chapter 12 (Bonus Sections)

* Holly Mann gives a short explanation and examples on how you can use eBay to help you promote your websites, even though eBay do not allow this.

* Short explanation on what dropshipping is, and gives you a short list of dropshippers for you to check out.

* Not much information here. I have some personal experience in dropshipping, and you will need more information than what Holly Mann provided. Even then, this is a bonus chapter and talking too much about this will throw this excellent eBook’s focus off affiliate marketing.

From my own viewpoint as a beginner, this book is DEFINITELY written for noobs in mind. Any newbie will understand Holly Mann’s excellent explanation on marketing and SEO techniques and the numerous step by step instructions, ESPECIALLY the 15 page step by step instruction on SEO in Chapter 8 and eBook creation in Chapter 11.

I personally appreciate Holly Mann providing numerous suggestions and free tools to help you get a website up and running in the easiest and shortest time possible.

She even offers to set up a Wordpress blog for FREE if you buy online hosting from her affiliate link. I believe this offer is going to be a great help for a beginners as setting one up may be a big technical hurdle for some.

However, if you are an experienced online marketer, I believe Holly Mann’s Honest Riches 2 will benefit you too. Though I am not yet one myself, Honest Riches 2 will have some new techniques you may have never thought off.

Holly Mann also provides support and assistance through her forums. I frequent the forums since I brought Honest Riches back in Dec 06, and the community is definitely active and very helpful. I post there as KaiWei, if you are interested.
